Hello! It’s already been 4 days since the big launch of our demo on Steam. Now that I’m writing about it, publishing a demo doesn’t sound like a big milestone. But for us, as a team, it means finally being able to show all the work that we’ve been doing for 8 months.

DEVELOPER STUDIO - About us

We are Otter Worlds Games, an indie developer studio from Spain. We are scattered around the country and work remote, but sometimes we manage to meet in Madrid and have some fun together. We started this project almost by chance, starting as a big group of: developers, programmers, artists, producers and marketers. For an indie studio, we are quite a lot of people working together and meeting every Thursday to talk about the game, what can be done, and what already has been done.

THE NAME When it comes to deciding important stuff, we like to involve the whole team. We started creating an excel document to vomit all the ideas we had for a cool name. Then we discovered that, not only the term “Otter” was repeated in several ideas, but they were also the most voted names among all. This is quite hilarius, how did it happened that so many Otter lovers ended together doing a videogame?
